New to Hot wheels or Real FX?

If you want to do anything fun, I suggest buying the Real FX Expansion pack from Amazon, about 40$ US. You get quite a bit of track, some U (left) turns, and some straights that will make for good racing.
Unless you are limited in space, don't bother with the Crossover, I used it in several circuits and it didn't add anything, so I ditched it.I may separate it and use it for elevation changes but even then they are sharp bumps more than hills, and my hills cost about 2 dollars, there's are 35$, hmmm

oops, forgot video

A quickie, more to come, PC!

A bunch of pictures and a video,

I modded last nights track for ease of use, My Grandsons and SIL (a good young Man) came over to see what all the hullabaloo was about. My Youngest(6) is Autistic, and he had a blast on novice mode, Dad suffered through Expert for a short time and my oldest (8) ran advanced, pretty cool. About 20 minutes in, SIL figures it out and breaks my record, I had a 21.98, He ran a 19.77 wah? So I grabbed the truck and ran a 19.69, still stands.
The coolest part so far is that Deegan(8), got bored running advanced, so I put him on Expert with sagged batts, still not good. Put him on Expert with 10 lap batts and he is good enough to race with us, Happy Pops! Here are some pictures with some info, hope it helps,                              Banked Hairpin City, WooHoo!
Real FX GT mod, I also have Slick set of tires for this car, but only for HW open wheel cars, they won't fit anywhere else :)

Ferrari F50X is looking good, already has Slick mod, with Dremeled front wheel wells.

                                                                   GT?
Slick modded Camarostang
Stock on the right, Slicks on the left
Wheel well mod

Showoff! (not pictured, Z's silver Bullet, currently under development)
I'm setting up Two cars for open wheel, hence the Slicks, which are actually a harder compound, not really slick as it were, great traction and breakaway, and they look coooool

New track and stuff

When someone gives you a Cross(over) you must only use it for good :)
So for my first try I didn't do too bad, and only left 1 V and 1 B track unused, not counting the Bazillion T and U tracks, no biggie there.
Track 78X

Looking to the future I bought fresh paint for some cars, and the RealFX car got new paint, and Shoes!

This is my Real FX car with new tires with a Hot wheels body,
You can't mount an RFX body to an HW but HW to RXF works, go figure.

And some Beauty for my Favorite car, the Squirrel,
She sports the larger racing slicks in the rear, which led me to a conclusion. The Floppy front axles will lean in on corners, acting as natural camber, look close next time you run.

Dont Clean your track too hard! Yikes!

Expansion

Q got some more track for the Speedway, and I finally got a Real FX car/controller,
The cars are small! They are also thinner plastic, welded wings and "pop off" wheels, they seem a bit cheaper built than HW cars. They are fast though and handle well so there's that.
Both Brands swap over cars and controllers, including Championship mode, Some features are different, but we only drive Expert and never use hazards so it's not an issue for us. Chuck will use the Rfx controller, he currently drives Back handed with the HW so the other should help.
Straight pack from HW 15$ US
Going to do this car as Martini and Rossi

Poisoning the Well

I love tricky turns and this track has some you wouldn't expect,
This section is very difficult, if you get off your losing the whole complex
Which leads to these esses, which are very fast considering the 2 off camber turns at the beginning

And this open 90 is a 50/50 proposition unless you get whoa'd down fast

the best I can get so far is a 23.91 lap time,
Someone will beat it
